The first wine of the company was made in 1986 by three former state farmers. At this time, the goal was the processing of the own grape in a leased cellar. In 1992 Vincellér MPS Kkt. was established. In the same year, Vincellér Wine Shop was also opened in Balfi street, which has the atmosphere of the one-time Sopron and Austrian wine shops. In 1996 we bought the Széchenyi Cellar in Fertőboz. We executed the processing of the grapes and the fermentation with a modern technology.
With the 1999 vintage our nicest kékfrankos and zweigelt wines were bottled. With the growth of the areas and the large variety of wines, our bottled wine selection was continuously growing on a yearly basis.
In 2007 we renovated and opened the vinotheque connecting to the lower branch of the cellar in Boz.

The cellar including two branches was built by Ferenc Széchenyi between 1811 and 1812. The Bozi Borüzéri Társaság, as the business undertaking operated in the cellar, was the famous supplier of, amongst others, the Habsburgs as well as the wine fans of Moravia and Silesia. The lower branch of the cellar assists to perfect aging with an equal temperature whole year round. The upper branch having been built a few years later – which is the cellar of the wine region with the highest headroom – is the stage of processing.
Subsequent to nationalisation, it became under the ownership of the Nagycenk Széchenyi István Collective Farm. We managed to purchase it in the middle of the nineties.
We produce our elementary substances with the application of a large variety of species and cultivation methods in almost every remarkable area of the wine region. This way, we can emphasise that the site and the species can successfully find each other, and we can counterbalance the unfavourable meteorological conditions. Our significant areas are located in Harka, Kópháza, Fertőboz as well as in Balf.
